New life “Khrushchev in German”

We don’t know the program of renovation of housing in Moscow is good or bad? Probably more pluses than minuses. Thousands of families will get apartments in new houses will stop beating their heads on the chandelier. But there is a fear, as if Moscow has turned into a solid Lyubertsy — the realm of multi-storey concrete, not green.

Say, the courts will be more spacious? So after all the cars make.

There are a lot of nuances, so it is useful to study foreign experience. In Germany, for example, the ancient “sockets” is not demolished and converted into a lovely modern home, outstanding not your age. The author of the blog imir_rude walked through the residential districts of the town of Jena, and captured how a pumpkin becomes a carriage.

Many believe that in Germany all live in a cute gingerbread houses in the fairy tale, but in reality, houses in the residential districts of the former GDR (and in some Western States) look something like this:

For residents of the CIS the picture is familiar. Prefabricated houses in the district Winzerla was built in the 70’s and now are not considered the most respectable and in need of repair. Demolish them, however, nobody is going: the Germans know how to make quality repairs of buildings. The once dull gray house now looks much better, although still a work in progress.

Compared with another not renovated house of the twin:

In addition to purely cosmetic changes are more significant: in an interesting way was the increased size of the balconies, and some doorways moved forward. And the rear of the building there are additional exits through the basement.

Here is the entrance to a decent home: the flowers, the bench, the grate for cleaning shoes and water runoff. Please note that mailboxes accessible from the street, that is, the postman do not need to go inside, climb the stairs and call all the apartments, so he opened the door.

In the previous photo is not clear where the shop, so make the neighboring house that is already rented, and differs only in color. As you can see, the bench will be the concrete slab near the entrance, when to it tie a wooden panel.

Here’s another stone house 70 years after the overhaul:

Before he looked like this:

The approach to the house is protected from the road by a low concrete fence, behind which planted green bushes, the dilution excess gray.

In the end the residents of the houses are quite lovely courtyards in front of the entrance.

Extreme entrance has no courtyard, instead, the door is a wide descent and has Parking for bikes.

Between the houses there is the area for garbage collection. In Germany it is usually close to the castle, to protect from vandals and lovers shake off their garbage to the neighbors.

Another prefabricated house, renovated for a long time and a very different style. It is interesting because it was attached to the elevators, which were not in the original design of the house. This is a fairly common practice in Germany.

Local landmark — district garden.

Now there is a bit of debris from the construction of the gazebo (seen in the photo above) and only grow tulips, but later it will be cucumbers, tomatoes, strawberries and even pumpkins! All official: a place to garden agreed with the administration and divided between all “farmers” equally. Plot a look, and even those who don’t grow plants, and the reason for that is a comfortable place for a grill, enjoyed by all.

Now fast forward to another area — Lobeda, where a lot of lives of migrants from Turkey and the former USSR. So Lobeda looks from the 11th floor. As seen in the photo here, too, entirely prefabricated houses, but, in contrast to Winzerla, the houses here are much higher: from ten to thirteen floors.

Most houses are built so that they form a closed courtyard with a Playground inside. They are, incidentally, not the same acid-bright as it is now put at us. The whole territory of children’s playgrounds filled with sand, separate sandboxes, as we do, then no.

Standard set: swing, slide, ladder. Adult inhabitants of the courtyard there is a table tennis table.

Drew attention to the strange building in the background? This bunk Parking.

A local house has long been abandoned. Broken glass, dilapidated doors and walls filthy red-brown spoilt. And after a complete renovation of the building became the highlight of this area.

In addition to the buildings themselves, changes have been made to the adjacent territory. Please note that the sidewalk is not only considerably above the roadway, but separated from the buffer area to the parked cars and stealing space from pedestrians. Themselves Parking spaces attached to the apartments and numbered.

Known throughout the city student residence on the Avenue of Karl Marx. Recently it was grey-brown box, and is now bright and very comfortable home. Repaired one entrance after another, by turns, completely renewing everything from painting to the layout of the rooms. Students, however, had to be evicted, but it was worth it. The prices have not changed, and the hostel remains one of the cheapest in the city.

The Germans, however, are not very fond of this area, as student hostels and relatively low housing prices there are a lot of foreigners, especially Turks and former Soviet citizens who the Germans don’t really distinguish and simply called the Russian. Local students studying Russian language at University, even has a joke about the fact that language practices do not have to go abroad, you can just a couple of days to walk around Lobeda.
